The equipment of the Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences & Design, which is also available in the Master's Program, is very modern, worth more than \u20ac10,000,000 and includes, among other things, a quality control (QC) multi-device for frames (wooden windows and doors), a charging device in ready-made frames, tests of water permeability, water tightness, wind resistance, etc.<\/p>

Certified device for CE testing (worth \u20ac300,000), modern wood and composite strength testing device (worth \u20ac80,000), robotic arm, testing furniture controls and automatic treatments (worth \u20ac80,000), modern atomic absorption device (worth \u20ac60,000) , Xenon climate chamber, accelerated aging tests (worth \u20ac50,000), 3D 3D printer \u2013 testing & prototyping objects (worth \u20ac35,000), 3D Laser Scanner, CNC machine tool, articulated CAD design arms, as well as a plastic object creator Vacuum Casting technology. The equipment of the CAD and IT Applications laboratory of the Department includes a DELL server 2950, Xerox Workcentre 7545 color multi-function machines, HP DesignJet T1200 44-inch plotter, as well as 60 workstations equipped with PCs with Intel I7 processors, 8-16GB RAM, SSD HD, and 21-inch screens (total value \u20ac70,000).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In addition, building A of the Department includes a complex of 4000 square meters which has 13 laboratories fully equipped with instruments, benches, PCs and software. Features telescopes, binoculars, photographic equipment, precision scales, calipers, stereoscope, microscope, drying oven, kiln, grinding mill, fat analyzer, fiber analyzer, thermal camera, motion detection cameras, GPS, temperature and humidity recorders, measuring instruments volume of existing wood (round and processed), standing trees and forest stands as well as other forest products, portable instrument for measuring photosynthesis, transpiration and leaf stomatal conductance (LCpro+) with complete microclimate regulation and control system and possibility of automatic creation of A\/Ci curves . Laboratory system for measurement of leaf surface and other geometric characteristics of the leaf with the possibility of image processing. Portable LAI leaf area index measurement system with the ability to analyze foliage parameters. Portable porometer for measurement of oral conductivity of the sexes. Portable instrument for measuring leaf water potential. Portable chlorophyll fluorescence meter (photosynthesis yield). Portable chlorophyll meter. Portable digital soil depth meter. Electronic analytical balances. Portable GPS instruments.
