Short CV<\/strong><\/p>

Dimitris Borboudakis has completed his studies in Biology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (APTH, 2008). He completed postgraduate studies in Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Utilization of Native Plants (Department of Biology, AUTh, 2011), and his PhD thesis at the Department of Anthropology and Conservation Science (University of Kent, UK) specializing in Biodiversity Management (2016).<\/p>

His research work is related to the interdisciplinary field defined by quantitative ecology, political ecology and cultural studies. His research experience covers a wide range of topics including: environmental governance and management; soundscape and music culture studies; urban nature and environmental justice; landscape ecology and habitat spatial distribution models. Methodologically, he is an expert in quantitative methods such as GIS, Big Data analysis, spectral analysis of soundscapes, and statistical modeling, but also in social science-based methods such as interviews, participatory observation, and focus groups.<\/p>

In the past he has taught Human Ecology, Geographic Information Systems, and Statistical Methods at undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Kent. He has also lectured in the Science, Technology, Society postgraduate program of the University of Athens. He has published 21 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, one book in Greek, three chapters in foreign language collective volumes and additionally presentations at conferences. His research has also been published in foreign language art magazines, exhibition catalogues, and also as a musical work.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
