Object - Goals

The subjects of the Master's Program entitled: "Multifunctional Management of Natural Ecosystems and Bio-economy", are an upgraded continuation of the academic subjects of the Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences & Design and specifically those that have been determined in accordance with decision no. 215/17.5.2019 of the Senate of the University of Thessaly and are: Forestry and Wood Sciences and Design and especially the direction of Natural Environmental Management.

Based on the developments and requirements of the market, of science in general, but also of the National Strategy for Forests (Y.A. 170195/758, Official Gazette 5351/Β/28-11-2018) the cognitive objects covered by this PMS are those that are internationally recognized and referred to a) Multifunctional Management of Natural Ecosystems, and b) Bioeconomy.

The purpose of MSc is the creation of specialized and capable executives of businesses and services, as well as entrepreneurs and researchers in bio-economy matters and the application of its principles in the modern multifunctional management of forest ecosystems and natural resources of great value.
