Participation of professors of the Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences and Design in a scientific conference of the Association of Administrative Judges in North Evia.

The Department of Forestry, Wood Sciences and Design, in the context of social responsibility, is already preparing a series of pilot projects with the aim of the model reconstruction of the areas of North Evia affected by last year's fire. In this context, the Professors of the Department Mr. Ioannis Papadopoulos (Chairman of the Department) and Michalis Vrachnakis participated with their public speeches in a scientific conference organized by the Union of Administrative Judges and Harokopion University.

The conference took place in Edipsos between 27-28 May 2022. The Professors of the Department presented the possibilities provided by the science of Forest Economy in the reconstruction of Northern Evia, as well as issues related to the role of extensive animal husbandry in the overall biodiversity of grasslands . The Department will continue such public scientific interventions and actions in order to contribute to the reconstruction of the region of North Evia.
