The University of Thessaly, as part of its outreach activities, participates dynamically for one more year in the Thessaloniki International Fair(86th TIF). The exhibition will open its doors on Saturday 10 September at 10am. and will receive visitors until Sunday, September 18.
The exhibition space of the University of Thessaly (Stand 14: stand 13 & stand 16) will host live demonstrations of various scientific and technological applications, video screening important achievements of the institution, electronic presentation of Academic Departments and modern Master's Degree Programs and printed material. Among others, there will be exhibits from the following Departments and Structures:
- Department of Architecture
- Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology
- Department of Agriculture, Ichthyology and Aquatic Environment
- Department of Forestry, Wood Science and Design
- Department of Food Science and Nutrition
- Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Faculty Of Medicine
- Department of History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology
- Department of Mechanical Engineering
- Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics
- Digital Systems Department
- Quality Assurance Unit
The Minister of Education and Religious Affairs Ms. Niki Kerameos will visit the University of Thessaly stand, and will be guided through its exhibits in the presence of the Rector's Authorities, on Sunday, September 11 at 11:00 am.
